My Meal Plan
Plan Options
Any student living on or off campus may purchase a meal plan. Students who live on campus will select their plan at the time that they select housing. Students who live off campus can enroll in a meal plan by completing the online Commuter Enrollment Form or by calling Hornet Central at (540)665-4515.

Resident
All residential students are required to have a meal plan. Students have the opportunity to select either the 10, 15, or 19 meal plan when living on campus during the housing selection process.

Commuter
Shenandoah University Dining offers several voluntary meals for off campus and commuter students. Off campus and commuter students have the option of choosing from our Premier, Deluxe, Commuter Express, and Select Plan.
Premier Plan
15 meals per week. $50 Flex Dollars per semester.
Price: $1,810.00
Deluxe Plan
10 meals per week.
Price: $1,430.00
Express Plan
5 meals per week.
Price: $755.00

** 50 meals per term. $75 Flex Dollars per semester.

Flex & Dining Dollars
Flex Dollars are cash values included in select meal plans. They work like a pre-paid debit card with funds kept on your Hornet Card. Flex may be used at any on-campus dining location, as well as a variety of off-campus establishments that are listed on our website.
Hornet Dollars are dollar for dollar funds added to an identification card to be used in the campus bookstore to purchase books, supplies, and SU gear. Hornet Dollars are also available to be used in any on-campus dining location. they are used in the same manner as Flex Dollars, but Hornet Dollars transfer from semester to semester and never expire.
Meal Deals
The Meal Exchange program is available to use at specific locations in the Brandt Student Center and at Buzzie's Restaurant. Each location has a variety of set meals for students to choose from. One meal deal equals one swipe. If your selections exceed the meal total, you many use Flex, Hornet Dollars, cash, or credit to pay the balance.
